We are now able to test for Lyme Disease antibodies in the office. Hopefully we won’t be seeing much, but the tick season started off fast and furiously. Transmission of infection usually requires the tick to be on for over 72 hours and engorged. Besides wearing long sleeves and pants while in areas at risk, daily tick checks are the best prevention. If you have questions, please call.
