As more cases of COVID-19 emerge in the US, many questions arise about how to deal with it and who should be seen and who should be tested. The American Academy of Pediatrics posted an excellent summary on HealthyChildren.Org. The bottom line is that it has been a relatively mild infection in children. We are told we need to “keep ill kids” out of the office if at all possible. Treat mild cold symptoms at home. IF your child is having trouble breathing, call. We will keep you apprised of any more information. PLEASE DO NOT PANIC!
