I do not want to downplay the significance of the COVID-19, but a recent study found that the virus tends to be mild in children and has not been passed from pregnant women to their newborns. As concerns mount, however, it is important to continue with the same techniques we use to prevent influenza – washing hands for at least 20 seconds in soap and water, and covering coughs and sneezes with tissues that are immediately thrown away.
