According to the CDC, vaping caused 450 cases of severe lung disease and possibly 3 deaths in 33 states and 1 jurisdiction. Researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center were interviewed on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. They are looking at some possible substances in the vape solutions. The bottom line is that vaping is not safer than cigarettes. We need to make sure our adolescents and young adults appreciate the severity of the illness associated with vaping.
