Despite prior reports of poor coverage of this season’s flu shot, recent statistics show that it is 59% effective in children, which is a good number. In patients who have had the shot and still get the flu, the symptoms have been very mild. IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO GET THE SHOT. February and March are traditional rough flu months.
